This group is dedicated to the annual summer charity barbecue and Classic Car display held each year in aid of the charity YoungMinds. The relaxed and informal event, incorporating a fund-raising element, is arranged by Club RetroTorque and hosted by one of our members, Anne.

For the past three years, club member, Anne has arranged a hugely successful private classic car show, barbecue, and get-together, in Upper Poppleton, York. This privately held event attracts over forty cars on display and there is always the chance to enjoy fantastic camaraderie and the great food Anne prepares!

There have been three such events now. And the event for 2023 is already in the planning. So far, over £2000 has been raised for the charity, YoungMinds. This is a charity RetroTorque is delighted to support. YoungMinds supports children and young people with mental health problems. They work with children and their families both inside and outside of a school setting.
