Save the date: Thursday 21 August. Charity Run to Rosedale Abbey, North Yorkshire Moors.
A pleasant 63 mile drive from the charming Georgian market town of Easingwold through some of North Yorkshire's finest scenery.
We'll meet in Easingwold from 10:00 for a 10:30 departure for a scenic drive to Rosedale Abbey, passing Newburgh Priory, Byland Abbey, Helmsley and Blakey Ridge.
After a refreshment break at Rosedale Abbey, we'll head to the Carlton Inn, Carlton Husthwaite for lunch via Nunnington Hall and Ampleforth College.
There are two routes out of Rosedale Abbey. For those up for a challenge, one shares the title of the steepest hill in England, Chimney Bank - a 33% gradient. There is an alternative, much gentler route.
Full event details will be published shortly, with a link to make donations to the Leeds Hospitals Charity.
